Great find. We had reservations elsewhere & after reading reviews for plumpjack, we changed reservations. We were extremely pleased with that decision.Excellent atmosphere, portion sizes are perfect & quality of food exceeded ournexpectations.Waitstaff is polite & knowledgeable about menu. The Mac & cheese side with the sirloin is out of this world & veal starter melts in your mouth.

Great Meal!. We were thrilled with this find. As it is in the lodge, which looked closed, we didn’t even give it a thought until one of the people in the shops told us about the restaurant. We went in and were one of only two tables seated at that time. We enjoyed our waiter/bartender. He made my wife a ginger mojito, which she absolutely loved. I had a burger and a beer, while she had the corn chowder. Both were big hits. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Squaw Valley.
