Great food!. This restaurant is definitely a Tahoe gem! The restaurant itself is tiny but the atmosphere is lovely. We actually bring our two kids (5years&9months) here. I’m always a little nervous because of the restaurant size but the staff is great about it and the other diners don’t seem to mind. My husband loves the scallop entre. I am not a gnocchi fan usually but this is something unlike you have ever had. It will blow your mind. We also love the cheese platter. The smores dessert is unique and fun. The only thing I would like to see happen is a little variance in the menu. We’ve been coming here for a year now and the menu has been the exact same. I wouldn’t mind it if they changed it up just a little here and there. Otherwise, I can’t complain…eat here…you will not be disappointed! (make a reservation though :-))
The Rustic Lounge was the very best meal we had while on vacation. You can’t go wrong with the shrimp and grits appetizer. My wife had the scallops and said they were great. I had the chicken and it was the juiciest and so flavorful. We finished with a stone fruit plate with ice cream and berries.The service was good and I highly recommend this place. You will probably need reservations. Restaurant on seats about 30.

EAT HERE! Amazing fabulous food, presented wonderfully. Lovely friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The only minor comment would be that there is no kids menu however one of the appetisers between my two kids (6&2) went down really well and was a nice change to the usual burger/corn dog option.
We loved it!!!. My family were the very first customers of this restaurant. I cannot begin to describe how amazed we were at the food they created. Every dish was suburb. We were on a vacation and had just left SF so our dining experiences had been very good but with out question this restaurant was the best meal we had. WWe came back the next night and they were just as good.The folks involved in this establishment are really world class and are in Lake Tahoe for family reasons. As a result both the visitors and the year round residents have an unparalleled culinary jewel to enjoy. What a find!!!
