EXCELLENT!. This was the first time I went to Amerikan Ichi Sushi. The staff is very friendly, and the food is awesome!We sat at the bar today, and got to speak with the chef pretty much the whole time.. Even the company was friendly and talked to you while we waited ( not long at all) for the food.We are from Pioneer, so driving all the way to Placerville is worth the time in the car.Thank you for the off menu items like the Fuji Roll.. LOOOOVVVVEEEEEE. And thank you for all of the suggestions, and the wonderful atmosphere.The chef was attentive, and took care of us the whole time. I would highly recommend Amerikan Ichi Sushi to everyone.Go and enjoy the all you can eat lunch menu. It was fabulous!

Best Sushi Value. The sushi is terrific, but the cost makes it even better. I hate to pay the price of sushi at other restaurants.
BEST SUSHI I HAVE EVER HAD!. Let me start by saying that I know good sushi! I have traveled all over Asia and the U.S. and I currently live in San Francisco–the foodie capitols of California. Sushi is my favorite food, and I have eaten A LOT of it. That said, American Ichi is hands down the very best I have ever had! Armando and Ernesto handcraft the most beautiful creations, use the freshest ingredients, and the taste and experience is exquisite. Every time I am in Placerville, I take my friends to American Ichi and they are always impressed. I even have a friend who is a gourmet chef from Japan, and he loves American Ichi too. Go to American Ichi, sit at the bar, ask for Ernesto, try the Eggs Benedict or Omega 3 rolls. You will not be disappointed!
Fabulous Sushi. This is an amazing restaurant tucked in a small space in Placerville. Though it may be hard to find, it is well worth your time when you get your first bite of their wonderful sushi. And the owners add their personal touch to everything and make you feel so welcome. It is a place not to miss.
Sit at the bar or don’t go because the servers an ass who asks for tips ever 2 minutes but it’s good get the ito tools
Whats all the fuss about???. This place may have a nice atmosphere but they are stingy with the portions of fish they put on their rolls and the service is not that great. I won’t be going back when Shilla’s is so close by.
