Fried Green Tomatoes Grilled Cheese. Firm green tomatoes lightly breaded a put in the middle of crispy sourdough bread with cheddar and gouda. Almost like having a hamburger.12 Oct, 2014Out of the PARK!. How else do you describe this place. The ambiance is great Rustic feel of Placerville with a modern edge. The food … AMAZING! There is nothing I have had I would not eat again. Want to try something new? The FriedGreen Tomato grilled cheese will knock the SOCKS off of A veggie burger any day of the week! How can we forget the service. The staff has always beenkind and attentive. This is our yearly must stop after a day at Apple Hill! So kick back and just enjoy your dining experience.

New York Cheesecake. I was not expecting Brick’s to do this when I told them it was my boyfriend’s birthday. Awesome and delicious!

One bad out of two. Loud, crowded and my steak was over cooked. Also my 10 dollar glass of wine had what looked to be a teaspoon of salt crystals at the bottom of the glass. Came here a year ago and the food was pretty good. Hope this was a one time event.

First let me start with the good stuff…Bricks caters to celiac patrons with even having gluten free bread so I can have a burger!!! And it’s good bread!!! Second they do have a good selection of offerings from salads to burgers from entrees that are creative and starters. The staff is pretty good though young. Now the only bad things are that it is so LOUD all the time and it bothers me. Also it is crowded most nights and there isn’t much breathing room. Sometimes we even have walked away because it’s so busy. Good for them and I guess these are good problems.

Disappointed….. We have to eat gluten free items, and were very excited to find a restaurant that provides gluten free buns for hamburgers. To our surprise, gluten free bread (there is no bun) is extra $2.25, also for kids!! The french fries are not gluten free, they are made with beer batter (My 3 years old said they aren’t yummie and didn’t want to touch them) . My 6 years old wanted french fries, so we had to order yam fries, extra $2.25. The yam fries are extremely large and were a little burned on the out side and not ready on the inside, she didn’t eat them. The bread was extremely oily,,,,The service was very slow, and when we got our bill, we saw they added a glass of milk we didn’t order, extra $6….. but…..The gluten free bread was delicious, I was told they bake it everyday. The hamburger was good as well, even thought it was strange to eat it in bread and not in a bun.
