We really like this restaurant! It’s cute and the breakfast is great! But this time we ordered something a little weird thinking it would be good. I don’t know if others are aquinted with this type of dish but we certainly weren’t. It was a breakfast place called Day After Thanksgiving. It is 2 buttermilk pancakes, turkey, gravy, & cranberry sauce It’s in a section that says all dishes come with either maple or boysenberry syrup. So, we ordered boysenberry strup. The plate comes out, and not only is there no syrup, but the turkey and gravy are on top of the pancakes. Again, not sure if this is normal for other people but it didn’t look appetizing. So there was a tiny bit of trouble getting the waitress to take it back, separate them and give us our syrup, but anyways. It was a very good dish once that was all settled. Just know that if you don’t like pancakes with gravy on them, ask for them to be served separately or just order something else (might be the better option since they didn’t want to separate those for us). Aside from this little annoyance and awkward situation of having to practically beg the waitress to fix the food, we’ve never had a problem at this place.

Poor Customer Service from the Manager. BE CAREFUL DINERS when ordering a sandwich. The menu lists a side order. Then there are more words. Listed below that, it says for $ .99 you can order onion rings. Since one side comes with the sandwich, I ordered the soup. Because we were splitting a sandwich, my husband ordered another cup of soup and we ordered the onion rings for $ .99. When the bill came, we were charged $6.99 for the onion rings. The Manager who’s name is Autumn Childers, would not charge us only the $ .99 as it said in the menu. We insisted on good customer service. She absolutely refused saying the server told us clearly what we had ordered. What we heard the server say, was a repeat of what we had just ordered. She did not tell us we would be charged $6.99 for the onion rings as we absolutely would not have ordered them. We told the Manager we have been customers for years, and we would not be coming back. She told us she was sorry for our decision. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Thank goodness for social media and the power of mouth to mouth.
