Each time I head up to Tahoe, a stop at Shoestrings is mandatory. The only thing I’ve ever ordered here over the last 5 years is the chili cheese dog meal. An above average dog and a decent price for the meal. I spoke to a few of the staff and they claim that the owners are related to the folks that run Pinks in LA. I’ve been there too and there are some similarities…tough to beat Pinks (in comparison). Good grub.
