Not a place for a relaxed dinning, too loud and busy with visitors. Had to wait for a seat.CPK is all about variety of mouth watering pizzas, they have an elaborate menu. We ordered my favorite spicy buffalo cauliflower and a gluten free pizza served on cauliflower crust; beautiful presentation and good to taste. Wanted to try szechwan chicken dumplings too but the kitchen was closed by the time I ordered.Overall good experience.
Pretty good, very busy. We were seated quickly even though it was busy. I was having a hankering for a all frosty one, sad, the only two beers they have on tap are Bud and Coors (Blue Moon) barf. There was a savior, they have 22oz bottles of Arrogant Bastard available, I had one of those delicious ales which came with a tall frosty glass. Our server was fast but didn’t make us feel to hurried, I ordered the Carnitas Habanero Pizza, my usual Thai Chicken was no longer on the menu. I was a little apprehensive because the menu warns its spicy but looked forward to beads of sweat on my brow. The pizza came with he habanero sauce on the side, our server told me because it can make the pizza inedible for some, I got nervous. I took a small taste off the spoon to gauge the heat, no heat, good flavor, no heat, none. I poured the bowl on my pizza, when the server came back he looked at me like I was nuts, he brought me another bowl of sauce when I told him it was not hot, I used it as a dip for my pizza and finished that bowl too. Pizza is pretty good, the dough should have been crisped up with a little more time in the oven, it was pretty soft a doughy. We finished up with a Chocolate Souffl Cake, it collapsed and had not a glimmer of hot goo in the middle, it was more like an undercooked brownie. CPK is not a place for a relaxing dinner, very noisy, very busy.02 Jul, 2010When you don’t want just a pizza. For me it’s the Thai Chicken Pizza..
