Not so good!!!. On my first visit I was not so pleased w/ the service or the food, but decided to give it a 2nd try bc of the beer selection. The 1st bad experience was no fluke, the service was bad again, servers seemed to be inexperienced & forgetful. The food did not taste good. Yuk, do not go there.
Worthy a return if not frequent. Very nice twist of pub grub. Locally sourced meats, produce and best of all primarily California beers and ale’s on tap. Our service was good except for one boo boo. We had a flight of different ale’s that they change up every week and calamari as an appetizer. The calamari was perfect, all I can say. I had the brisket sandwich. It is served on a chibata bun which I am not a big fan of but the brisket was flavorful and tender. The fries were super crisp and light. The only thing I could take issue with was the fact that my entree was dropped less than 5 minutes after the calamari hit the table.
New downtown favorite!. Welcome to the neighborhood! We stopped by on Friday night and were able to get in for the pre-opening. All I can say is Wow! The remodel is simply beautiful! Warm and inviting… The beer selection is impressive. But, I’ll be coming back for the food! The hot pastrami was great. Huge portion. They told us the chef smokes all of the meats on site. We also had the soup of the day which was a salmon chowder – it was delicious. The kids gave the chicken two thumbs up. Thank you for serving it with grilled corn on the cob – very nice touch for a kids menu! There was even salmon on the kids menu – nice. The chocolate cake was amazing. The kids also loved the rootbeer on tap. We are so excited to have a new favorite restaurant in downtown!!!
