Made a reservation, we were …. Made a reservation a couple days ahead of time, we were on time and were still seated 15 minutes late. Absolutely no warmth or graciousness from the hostess. Four people, $264 not including tip for 1 beer, 5 drinks, 3 sides and 4 entrees with no desserts. Worth it? Nope. Look at the picture of my prime rib, the kitchen sadly murdered a good piece of beef. I ordered it medium rare, the waiter delivered me a piece of well done pot roast. The other three people at the table were equally underwhelmed with their meals. We would have done much better if we had gone to Cattleman’s.

Top quality and high price. I haven’t been here for quite a few years. Back when I went here several times a year, it was the best place for a great steak, great salad, and great martini. Back then at least, no other restaurant around came close in my view on those three things. The price tag was higher than any other place too, but you got what you paid for. So, if you want top notch, go here. If you want reasonable prices on less than top notch food, better go somewhere else.

PRICEY BUT A NICE NIGHT OUT. A great place in the area to get steak and seafood. well saying this pleasanton, dublin and livermore have never really offered too many choices other than the steakhouse chains. the bar is a great place to get together with friends before or after a meal. the steaks are pretty good but they better step it up with the new steakhouses opening in the tri valley. the macaroni and cheese is a great side dish i can never get enough of. my dad’s greatest memory of this place was when he took me to eat here with the family for the first time and running into a friend of mine at the bar. well let’s just say she had alot of work done and was a pro cheerleader. my dad was quite impressed with my game so to speak!it’s pretty weird anytime i go to hap’s because before it was a restaurant it was just a dive bar that was a staple in pleasanton for many years. i remember many times drinking here and it was quite a strange local crowd.

A great place for the boys to grab a cocktail and a slab of meat after work. I wouldn’t classify this place as romantic though.

Very Good but…. I think that this is a fabulous place to eat and the food is top notch and very good. Service has been fantastic every time I have been there. They have a very extensive wine list, very Livermore and surrounding area heavy, which i like very much. Here’s the but…….then PRICE. With so many right things, the prices are just way to egregious. So thats my big issues. Outstanding food, just cant get down with the pricing.
