GREAT PLACE, HIDDEN LOCATION. Decided to pop on in for the grilled crab sandwich special on friday for lunch. not the best idea to go right around noon as it seems everyone in hacienda is also there for lunch. after a brief stint in line i ordered my sandwich and a pumpkin bar for a snack. the sandwich is pricey at over $8 and not as big as i expected. the sandwich is on grilled sourdough with, fresh crab, artichokes, dill havarti cheese and tomato. the crab was so fresh and lumpy that all i could taste in the sandwich was the crab. i never could tell there were artichokes and the cheese wasn’t really full of any flavor. unfortunately it was the greasiest sandwich and the bread was toasty but soggy from all of the butter. it was an ok sandwich but i have had much better at sweet & savory. the sandwich came with a small caesar salad as well that was pretty much just another salad. nothing too special but it helped to have more for the price. the pumpkin bar was really good but the crust was too thick. it was like eating a pumpkin pie but with a 1/2 inch thick crust. i will be back in the future but i’ll stick to my favorites and try to miss the busy lunch times.
