Nice find close to home.. We’ve been to all the sushi places close to home. This one wins. The staff makes every visit enjoyable. We’re critical eaters. We only really go for the sushi/sashimi. I love the Lobster Tail, well I love all of it, but I crave Lobster tail. I have to control myself not to eat everything this place has to offer. We’ve only been to RB location as it’s about 1 mile from home, yay! An excuse to stop by on evening walks 🙂 Staff is perfectly friendly, service is superb, sushi is fresh, it has a positive ambiance, clean facility. Starbucks is next door if you’re a coffeeholic. We’ll be visiting more & more to try out the rest on the menu. I can imagine parking being an inconvenience during busy times, but they have free valet & we go when its not so crowded. Definitely worth the wait & a try.

Great and very Fresh Sushi perfectly prepared.I have tried almost everything on the menu and I have never been disappointed.It is true they do seem to be understaffed and the parking is very difficult due to the place being so busy.I think this could be a 5 star place when they work out some problems of scaling up the operations
We Love Love Boat!. My husband and I bring our 3 year old daughter with us every time we go & we all love it. My daughter gets the chicken teryaki and we get the delicious sushi. The music is always loud, but we love it. It makes it more fun than the average family restaurant! The sushi is amazing!!! By far the best sushi I have tried in San Diego. We have been there over a dozen times & will keep going back!
Great place to have a birthday!
Didn’t like the sushi. I asked for a dish to not be spicy and they made it extra spicy! Even though I left it uneaten, the sushi chef didn’t say anything to me. Either did the hostess who processed our bill. I did however like the life music.
Loveboat RB is as good as the one Oceanside, and as good as the ones in Japan. Would recommend for great time and food!
