2018/08/13After finishing a full day workshop at the clients offices, I was walking around the neighbourhood near my hotel. After a while walking, I decided to try Casa Ramos. I had been to one of the other nearby locations last year. The restaurant was much less than half full on a Monday evening. I munched on some chips and salsa and studied the menu for a few minutes, and then selected the Fajitas with Shrimp. The screaming hot skillet was served with the typical fajita veggies of green peppers and onions, plus carrots, which I found a bit odd; I have never had those on fajitas before. It did provide a bit of crunch and I was a little bit distracted with the carrot flavour. There were 16 nicely sized, nicely seasoned, plump shrimp and four warm tortillas (I chose corn). Four shrimp per tortilla, with all the fixings, made for a very filling meal. Service was pretty good. Server checked on me several times and kept the water topped up.
