Great food and the atmosphere is simple and typical deli style but the food is excellent and huge portions! Love the potatoe salad! 10/10 rating and service great! Def gotta come back for liver and onions dinner only

Kippers and onions disappointed. Dry no meat on this fish. The bagel so dry and crisp not the bagel I expected. Guess next will stay with eggs and toast next time??

Dinner for Four. Corned beef and pastrami sandwiches: Meat good. Bread, boring – soft crust. Coleslaw and potato salad – BORING. Potato salad could have just as well been mashed potatoes. Coleslaw was nisht ahien, nisht ahair . ( that’s Yiddish for neither here nor there )Dessert: Ordered Key Lime Pie. Perhaps the Sherman bake crew should visit the Florida Keys.Service: Our waiter Hector – A1. His helper who brought out two of the plates tried to take a pill sized tub of coleslaw off of our plates just as they were being placed on the table. We were shocked. We felt sorry for Hector who had to explain to the shrew that we had paid for the slaw.Perhaps the Sherman crew should have a visit to the Stage Deli in NYC to get a handle on real Jewish deli style and service.

Great breakfast place. Try the hash — wonderful.

Nice to have a ny jewish deli so far from nyc. Huge portions. All the soups were great the sandwiches were thick with tasty meat. Get the bread toasted!

No doubt this restaurant is a Palm Desert landmark and attracts a huge following. However, it’s living on its reputation. It’s quantity vs quality at a reasonable price.
