Good prices, large portions and tasty. BUT my meal was supposed to have thinly sliced steak and tripe. It had four pieces of thin meat maybe as big as 1/4 inch and no tripe. I ordered it for the tripe. My companion had a very good meal with vermacelli beef and pea nuts.
Nice surprise!. I was surprised to know Redding had a pho restaurant. It’s tucked away and was a little hard to find (their sign was broken, but they said they were getting it fixed). It’s small and quaint. The options on the menu expand far beyond just pho, but pho was what I was there for. Started with egg rolls. The sauce they serve with it is DELICIOUS! I continued to eat the sauce even after the egg rolls were finished. The egg rolls were good…perfectly crispy with a lot of tasty vegetables surrounding them (coated with a delicious little marinade). We both had the beef pho (large). The menu mentioned all the meats in the soup, including tendon and tripe, which frightened me a little. No worries, though, when the food came. A plate of add-ons was very generous, with many choices to personalize our soups. It was warm and delicious and such a nice surprise! The service was great…quick, efficient, and very friendly. The price was reasonable for what we had. The bill was around $25 for both of us. Check it out! It’ll warm you up nicely…
