The service was good, the rotating boats were fun, I haven’t seen that done before, and the live piano was cool, but this place definitely gave me food poisoning. Ate at the bar, got a mix and match of rolls, sashimi, and cooked items, spent the next day trying and failing to keep anything in my stomach and lying in bed to minimize the rolling waves of nausea. My boyfriend didn’t get sick, but he travels a ton and eats street food in developing countries, so if you have a stomach of steel maybe you’ll be fine.

I asked if they have a mango sushi roll she said yes so i asked what the price difference was between the 4 piece and 8 piece roll and she said were very busy and hung up on me. I called right back and said hi i was trying to order food and was hung up on. The lady said hung up what do you mean? I said whoever was taking my order hung up the phone. Instead of appologizing she said what do you want?! I said just what I was askn before i was hung up on. Whats the price difference? She finally told me so i said the 8 piece roll sounds good what else comes on it? She said youre just gona have to come in an order were very busy and hung up on me again. I proceeded to call back 4 times in a row and each time they picked up the phone and then hung it up saying nothing. Very unprofessional and rude. The 5th time when she finally said hello i said can i talk to your manager or supervisor? She said theyre on vacation for a month. Then hung up on me again. I called back one last time to tell her I was proceeding with putting up a bad review for her customer abuse rather than service and hung up. Dont give them youre money because they do not appreciate your business.
This is a fabulous place to eat, and I’m not wild about sushi. The bar experience was a lot of fun and the waiters were great. My favorite was the seared tuna but everything was tasty and very fresh.
Waiters have issues communicating due to their lack of English skills. The food is good once you get past the communication issues.
Love this place! Best sushi in the North State! Fresh sushi on the boats at the bar, nice selection, and huge full menu.
Fun place awesome food. Make sure to go on a busy night when the sushi is super fresh. I eat sushi all over the country while traveling on business. For the price, nothing beats this place.
Amazing experience!! The boat is awesome. The food is superb. Was very refreshing after a lot of restiramt meals to find a great sushi spot. Fresh and tasty. We will make this a regular stop when we visit Redding.
