I ate lunch here today -had the 1/2 lb burger combo w fries and drink. The burger was very good to excellent -very fresh and flavorful. It was a solid 1/2 lb of meat. It reminded me of an old burger joint when I was a kid back in IL. the fries were good to very good -crispy as ordered. the soda was very good. For $8.39 it’s a solid value -you can skip the fast food chains. it’s one of the best diner burgers i’ve had. i just love a meal with a good ending!I will definitely be back to try other items and give it a strong recommend. (see follow up below)FYI, the bldg is an old community pool bathhouse converted into a diner. It’s funky, but quite good.
