Thieves. Everything about the meal was good, including the service. Problem: I forgot my $35 Nike Performance baseball cap on the way out. Returned in less than one hour, the hat was gone. Management just shrugged & took my number, said they’d call if it turned up. We were seated in an area of the restaurant where no one else could even see the hat. I suggested that one of their busboys got it, they blindly defended their staff, refusing to even ask. They intimated, by inference, that another patron may be responsible. No one could even see the hat, there were no other patrons in the area. Blind ignorance. While it may be true that businesses can’t control the activities of all their employees, it would only make sense to review video footage. Not. Management really had a blase attitude toward the issue.A $65 meal for two, and they employ such low life staff that would be so devoid of morals as to steal a customer’s hat? That’s bottom-feeder behavior that I would expect at any fast-food restaurant, but at an establishment with such high prices, I expect better quality staff, and better treatment when there is a problem.Resolution: I will NEVER set foot in any claim jumper restaurant again, and I will encourage everyone I know to never do business with them. THEY EMPLOY THIEVES!!!

No Good Anymore. 2 out of the last 3 times we have been to this Claim Jumper have been very disappointing. Come to think of it the other time wasn’t up to theold Claim Jumper Stanards. One of those times, they were out of both Porterhouse and fillet which is what we come for. We complained in writing and were left a message saying they would call us later but never did. Today, I got the order to go for my husband’s birthday. They did not send us home with everything we ordered. The potatoes were terribly undercooked. The steaks are smaller and less tasty than they used to be. I know the chain has gone through changes… Not for the better. Claim Jumper used to be our favorite restaurant but not anymore. I doubt we’ll try again. Thanks for a disappointing birthday dinner.

Claim Jumper. One of our favorites for a feast! Everything is good here, the apps are amazing too. Large portions perfectly cooked.

Disappointed. Always been a Claim Jumper fan until recently. I still maintain they have some of the best salads on the menu but I think something is wrong with the stove. Or the guy watching the stove. The last two times I’ve gone there my main dish was burned on the bottom. First time, it was ribs. I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice but I looked at the bottom. After I took a taste and they were dry and tasted burned. Second time was a couple of days ago when I ordered sliders. Never ordered them before but I’m sure they aren’t supposed to arrive burned on the bottom. Again, they tasted dry so I looked at the bottom. Obviously burned. What’s up, Claim Jumper?

Went downhill. I used to LOVE CJ’s… but since the company sold out from being a private, west coast only company, to becoming a chain that’s going nationwide… they’ve changed the menu, the food, the chefs…. nothing tastes the same, and the portions (although they are still large) have even shrunk. I’m no longer a fan… and will not return. Very disappointing.

Weak & unprofessional. They didn’t have creamed spinach and my server didn’t even know what it was. Even though it was Happy Hour, they don’t let you have HH prices at your table – you have to drink AT the bar to get Happy Hour pricing. All around bad restaurant!
