The Best Thai restaurant for miles around!. I used to be a regular at their previous restaurant in Citrus Heights and was devastated when they sold it. We tried every Thai restaurant from Sacramento to Auburn and couldn’t find one that came close. Then they opened a new restaurant in Roseville, very classy too. We are back in the groove. They are better than ever. There’s no place like it. Nothing compares.
Thanks reviewers! In Roseville, California. We were on our way to Reno and wanted an interesting lunch. Ruen Thai is close to the interstate. Everyone was very friendly, the food was awesome. The restaurant is delightfully decorated and ever so clean.
Huge dissappointment. Spicy sour soup neither spicy nor sour. loads of sodium. everything was flavorless, but the sodium was very present. thai food is supposed to have a contrast in flavors – fresh, bright and crisp flavors. everything (6 dishes) but the curry was way below the flavor chart. was not recognizable as thai food. i will not eat there again. their cooks should enroll in thai cooking classes if they want to stay in business.
Very hard to decide whether I liked this place or not. Great atmosphere and service. Pad Thai tasted like garbage. Other foods were ok. Ice cream was insanely good. Mixed feelings.

The food and service is outstanding. Get the coconut soup. It’s the best!!!
