We went to this restaurant because we had a Groupon voucher. We were pleasantly pleased. We have since returned about once a week. One of our favorites is the chicken burrito. However we have tried several different entrees and have liked all of them. We like the black beans and the rice is the best I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. The meatball soup is excellent and the salsa is delicious. The serving sizes are very generous. I would highly recommend this restaurant and look for to returning many times. It is a family owned restaurant and they are all very friendly.
Long wait, bad experience. Went for the first time to Sabores in Roseville, Ca. Service was extremely slow and we barely saw our waiter for the first half hour. We had to feast on chips and salsa to satisfy our hunger. They were reluctant to refill our chips. It took 1+ hour to receive our food. Granted they were busy, but an hour is unreasonable. They had a white board on the counter which had two specials. One was the California Burger and below that they listed the Santa Fe Chicken Salad. Between the two listed entrees was a price of 7.99. We ordered two Santa Fe Chicken Salads and our kids had quesadilla and nachos. The food tasted fine and i had no complaints with the taste. The salad was on the small side for the regular price of 11.99 (compared to comparable restaurants ie Chevys, On the Border etc.), but not to worry we got the special, right?……NOT….when the bill came we were charged the full price of 11.99…..We asked the waiter and he said the 7.99 price was for the California Burger listed above the price. The salad did not have a discount. SO WHY WAS IT LISTED ON THE SPECIALS MENU?????? So $50 later we left with little desire to ever return. We visited 3/14/2014
This place is amazing! Best Mexican food in Roseville. The menu tastes and looks just like Tres Hermanas in Midtown! The chili verde burrito is addicting! The chips and salsa are delicious and the rice I could eat morning day and night! This place is a must try!

Went here for the first time last night and LOVED the chips & salsa, creamy cilantro house dressing on their salad and their tender & tasty carnitas. Service was fantastic and friendly. It’s our new favorite Mexican restaurant in Roseville!
Wonderful!!!. Sabores is our new FAVORITE Mexican food restaurant. The food is always incredible and the service simply superb. So happy we decided to give it a try!
