Same yummy food as the original location, but thanks to greedy ADA lawyers it’s not as cozy as the tiny little building was. Nonetheless, I’ll still come back again and again!
Veggie Burger. Probably the best veggie burgers i have ever had.
Cheesburger. The cheese skirt was crazy!! The burger was good, the service was friendly…. I would go again.
Greasey. You will either love or hate this place. I went after hearing about it from Guy Fieri. Found the burgers to be greasy and sloppy. The cheese is weird too. If you want a great burger in the Sacramento area, go to Ten 22 in Old Sac. I am sure that is where Wimpie would eat 🙂
Overhyped. I’m always a big fan of history and supporting the little guy…but I just really wasn’t all that impressed. It was overly greasy, overly burnt cheese, limp wimpy fries, overly crowded at lunch time which made the service really slow. I doubt that I will go back anytime soon, probably not unless I was in the area for some strange reason.
Reviews correct as it is busy and seating limited. Squeeze Cheese cooked perfectly to order. Now serving Double Rainbow ice cream milkshakes. Had vanilla and it was very good.
