In the spirit of the neighborhood European caf, the Bernardo menu changes with the season. Salads, soups, daily breads, sandwiches, pizzettas, and burgers compliment entrees of fresh fish, steak and chicken, making Bernardo a healthy dinner house with caf prices. I came here to meet up with a few friends and ordered a lettuce wrap burger. It was good, but a side cost extra. All around a good restaurant with great atmosphere, but the menu was slightly overpriced.
We had breakfast here on a weekday. Very few diners so we had the best service: friendly, helpful young woman who anticipated our every need. We had the breakfast burrito, bacon and avocado omelet, pancakes, and seasonal fruit: all were tasty.
Looking forward to an Asian salad with promised carrots, cucumbers etc with the noodles I was served a $7 heap of noodle and minuscule veggies, hardly visible without a magnifying glass. Cute little place with no apparent idea of what a salad contains!
