So, I probably rated this place a bit high, but I would hate for anyone staying at the Doubletree to leave to go somewhere else. My meal, for the price, was spot on. I would have liked to have talked to chef Charlie, who is featured on a large poster in the lobby area, however after a 10 hour day of prep he had just departed. I ordered a New York strip which was accompanied by three shrimp, a grilled medley of asparagus cauliflower broccoli and zucchini (I had them hold the Bellpepper). There was also a side of mashed Yukon potatoes. Everything was cooked to perfection. The plate was garnished with lime. The server was attentive. The portion was sizable and so I did not have room for dessert. I’m glad I did not ask for a side salad. I plan to catch breakfast here, and hopefully chef Charlie.
