Cream Cheese Poundcake. Try the cream cheese poundcake. It is out of this world!
My boyfriend’s son use to talk about this place all the time. He use to say that they must be putting crack in the pastries because it was so addictive. I tried it for myself and fell in love with the bear claws and the peanut butter cookies I could eat all in one sitting they are sooo good.
Disappointment. I passed by Noyes Bakery on the way to visit The House of Korean BBQ. I decided to stop after I saw a placard on a vehicle parked outside that they offered a few Cuban and Argentinian items. I was hoping for a bakery that ranked on the level of Porto’s in Glendale or Merengue in Monrovia. I noticed that the cupcakes were priced @ $1.50 and judging by appearance, I figured that I could not lose. I tried a Marble cupcake, which based on the presentation should have been tasty. I did not care for the taste of this cupcake at all. Perhaps the refrigeration in the display case was too cold because the icing was kinda hard and the cake portion was too. I thought that my visit my be salvaged because I also purchased a Red Velvet cupcake and decided to take this one home. Maybe coming back to room temperature would allow this cupcake to blossom. Unfortunately, I was left with the same disappointment. There were many cakes in the display case that were nicely decorated with fondant and I am sure there must be some items here that are good. My entry level visit sampling the cupcakes will unfortunately prevent me from taking a chance on pricier treats.
Really Good Food. The new owner, David, is a doll; he really cares about his customers and wants to be a positive influence in his community. His cakes and goodies are the best! I love the old recipe Bee hives from this place! The cream puffs are just wonderful too. They have some of the best homemade rolls and breads YUM. What can I say? Try this place and you’ll love it too!
