Small family-style restaurant with food well above average. My Wife and I Have been going there for over 20 years. Both the owner and staff are friendly.Will continue to return even though we are out of the area most of the year.
Rude owner horrible customers service. Watch out they charge you more than what it says on the menu. I also ask for some condiments and found out at the register that I was also being charged $.85 for them as well. Once I got home I did the math and my total was to high I called back and they said oh no i was charged you $2.30 more for the condiments that’s what we charge for them . I talked to the owner who was rude and hung up on me. I would not think that a small restaurant would treat customers like this in such a small town. I wondered why it was so empty in the middle of the day. The food was ok I don’t know how fresh it was tho, it was definitely not worth what I was charged. I will never go there again and I will be telling all my friends and family not go there anymore because of this experience.
Great place!. I have been eating at La Mexicana for at least 20 years. It has always been my favorite Mexican food. I moved out of California to Texas 6 years ago but every time I come back home to visit family, I always make a stop here. The food has stayed the same great quality since the day they opened!
Ordered a taco salad and horchata. Nothing good to say about either one.
Bargain. La Mexicana is an inexpensive family style Mexican restaurant. We ordered a taco salad and a combination plate. The portions were very generous and the food was well seasoned. Great food for the money!
Average food. Cheap beer.
