Quirky. Cafe Mojoe doesn’t feel like a La Jolla establishment. For starters it offers an odd mix of coffee, sandwiches, Korean bibimbap, and sushi rolls. The interior feels like a loungy but spartan coffee shop with a couple of booths, small tables, a sofa, a collection of games, all sharing the same room as the food prep area. The cafe would feel more at home in Salt Lake or Vancouver. Being hidden behind a Yogi Topi frozen yogurt establishment on the corner only makes Cafe Mojoe more obscure. And yet despite what seems like a dearth of customers (around noon), Cafe Mojoe carries on.I do like their bibimbap. And the owner seems very nice. Come here and hide when La Jolla starts to feel like a caricature of itself.
