Decent Steaks & No Corkage Fee. Awesome, awesome, awesome.We came here for a birthday dinner. We came armed with our own wine and an Entertainment Card.I ordered an 8 ounce Smothered Blue Steak. It’s a top sirloin steak with sauteed mushrooms and onions with crumbled blue cheese on top. Perfection. It was cooked to the medium-rare specifications I requested and came out lovely.The salad bar that goes with the meal isn’t large, but there are plenty of options there that would keep me coming back. They have all the fixings for a green mixed salad as well as yummy peanut slaw. The squaw bread and sourdough rolls they serve are amazing.The service was great too. We came with another couple. We all brought our own bottles of wine. One of the bottles was an old one that ended up having a dry cork. The waitress felt bad when the cork broke on her before she was able to pull it out. She tried so hard to get it out of the bottle for us without it falling into the bottle. She went around to different staff members just to see if they could get it out for us. Finally, we told her don’t worry about it and just pour us our wine. She felt bad, but we reassured her that everything was okay.Beyond that, the evening was great. Good food, good company, great wine. Even better, because we used the Entertainment card, we received half off the bill (buy 1 get 1). So we came away paying for one meal only!!! No corkage fee either. So it was a real steal. We’ll be coming back again for sure.
