I dont think you can order anything here and go wrong. Everything they serve is top notch. Its American food at its best. Their baby back ribs are to die for and the chicken is quite good too. Get the combo of the two. They have an in house spice rub and sauce to suit any spice pallet. Loved the food here and washed it down with some good beer. They offer a lot of beers on tap.
What a delight. Had an amazing pork ribs smeared in BBQ sauce. The ambience was excellent and very vibrant . They also do have a wide variety of local beer. I would skip the side dishes though some people may enjoy the coleslaw. Excuse me for a bad photo i was very hungry
It may be nominated as the best BBQ in town!!!They have burgers and others but I highly recommend baby back ribs and beef ribs. It comes with side order of fries, steamed veggies, baked potatoes, etc. You can also add a sausage link with the combo.Prepare to get messy as you’re eating saucy ribs with your hands.When you’re seated, a service helper will frequently check to ensure you’re fully satisfied.
Went to Phil’s BBQ for lunch with some friends. Ordered the BBQ chicken breast sandwich with fries and a drink. The best was done well. I ordered the sauce on the side since it is a little sweet for my taste. One could then add some hot sauce to it to balance out the sweetness. Anyway good food and value for money.
First time visit tried its BBQ chicken along with macaroni salad and onion ring side dish. The food serving suits for one to two person, overall taste was satisfying. I appreciate the friendliness of the restaurant’s employees.
Big proportions and cozy atmosphere. The pulled pork is probably my favorite, but their chicken is alright too. Depending on the time, you can be swamped or have the restaurant to yourself.
Indonesians must know this place. We never miss Phils BBQ whenever we visit San Diego. Its a must! Baby back ribs and fries after kayaking day is the best!
