We were there at noon as it opened and got ourselves a bench. They give you a half litre of ale free to begin with and you have to take your stein up to the bar to get it filled for 19 bucks (reasonable price for a litre of ale). The beer is a very tasty germanesque pilsner and goes down very easily. The only seating available are long wooden benches and we had a great time making friends with the people that shared our bench. They sell large pretzels and trucker style hats, play German music and the staff wear traditional German outfits. There was also a random petting zoo that got set up in the area which was fun/cute. Great day out!
