Tried the breakfast buffet. Good selection of breakfast items including smoked salmon. Have had better smoked salmon.Fresh fruit selection is great. Good strong coffee. Phenomenal ambience, classic 1920s decor. Would recommend going a la carte.
The most beautiful hotel In Market street. So Royal n beautiful it was, especially garden court mad me mad. I stayed here for one night with a compliment breakfast provided by hotel. I loved the food here and moreover am stunned with the beauty of interiors. A must visit if u don’t bother about money.
Garden Court in the beautifully restored Palace Hotel. Well worth stepping back in time for a light lunch or quintessential tea on the weekends. The room, with the exquisite belle epoch glass ceiling, is really out of the ordinary. A perfect girls stop for luncheon after a traditional white gloved sort of shopping day. It is not a place to frequent, but a place to experience occasionally when you are in the mood for a little time travel. Lovely! (HINT: Then go across Market Street to the prettiest Japanese Bakery imaginable! Forget the name. Shame on me. Go look! Paris patisseries have nothing over this little spot.
The most beautiful room in San Francisco.
A must for the crab omelet! You won’t be disappointed. Great atmosphere. Skip the buffet.
Beautiful Room, well done Sunday Brunch. I am always keeping my eye out for a good Sunday brunch location. Garden Court in the Palace Hotel is wonderful; it’s a beautiful old room with lots of charm. Not sure how I could have missed this special place. What a well-kept secret for such a grand place. If you are looking for something on a budget this is not the place. Cost was about 65.00 per person. Included coffee/tea, juice and champagne, ham, hand carved beef, fresh fruit, crape bar, made to order omelets, dim sum, sushi, many hot dishes and beautiful desserts as well as all the standard other breakfast goodies, cereal, oat meal, pancakes, and more.
