HECHO is a Japanese restaurant and Tequila bar that offers traditional sushi and Robata grill fare alongside a long lineup of small batch specialty Tequilas and seasonal sakes. Restaurateur Joseph Manzare combined his two food and beverage favorites (sushi and Tequila) and built HECHOs concept around their shared parallels refined, clean flavors, best expressed in their most primitive and pure states. The 140-seat, two-story space is laid out in an accommodating arrangement of a street-level sushi bar and lounge area, and an upper level dining room that includes a communal table and private dining room. San Francisco design company Zack | deVito utilized elements from Japan, Mexico, and San Francisco to create a welcoming and inspired setting which features Japanese prints, Mexican-style bar stools, and soft shades of green.
