If you like ramen then this is a must try. It is a no nonsense Classic Japanese ramen house. No fusion or pretense here. They have only 4 ramen choices. That’s it. But they do it well. They provide extra nice touches on service: hair tie (my pony tail does get in the way sometimes :), apron (saved my white shirt more than once!), roiboos tea (a very refreshing African tea, try it if you don’t know what it is), green tea (real Japanese green tea not the other cheap Asian versions), extra bowl of rice if the noodle is not filling enough for you, …. All for the price of service. No extra charge!My favorite is the Tsukemen (dip noodle). The dipping is sauce is creamy and slightly thicken so it sticks to the noodle (nice touch, as oppose to straight broth from other ramen house that actually dilutes the taste). The noodle is thicker and more chewy kind. You can get the noodle cold or hot depending on the weather outside. If you like soft boil egg then this place is your bees knees. Perfectly cooked white with runny yolk and broth injected inside. Yummy.
