Horrible All-Around. Everything is horrible, yes, you hear me right! This place was packed on this Monday night, its noise level was as high as 10 out of 10. We had to yell many times and finally we got a waiter’s attention to take our order. Most of the food we got were bad, really bad. Soup was so greasy covered by a layer of oil. Special priced Lobster with Noodle was supposed a 4 pounds lobster, but it looked like they used two small lobsters instead. Duck Gizzards with Tofu was straight from microwave and overheated. Sweet and Sour Spareribs were over-fried and dry. Peking Duck and Satueed Bean Sprouts were the only acceptable dishes. Service basically didn’t exist. If you want to embarrass yourself, go there!!
Variety is the spice of life. Considering that I now live in a culturally bleak metro area with very few Chinese restaurants I would actually take guests and parents to, the food here was very good and priced reasonably. The only times when you can beat the crowd rush for a dim sum restaurant is to go early in the morning and be there when they open for business. The dim sum selection wasn’t that good and I saw a lot more bread-based items than meat/seafood items. The day I went, the restaurant had a New Year’s special going on where all the dim sum plates were $2.29 each.
Best Dim Sum. This place has the best din sum in the city….maybe even country. Wide selection, great flavor, and best of all… SUPER CHEAP. maybe $2 a plate? So goodAlso been here for dinner. Try the raw lobster sashimi– it’s delicious
