Best pizza in SGV. In my opinion, that is. The pizza is great and crust and toppings always delicious. You have to understand, Petrillo’s has been around for decades. It is an Italian American restaurant, not an Italian restaurant. if you want that kind of food, go to Mozza or 800 degrees or any number of more authentic italian restaurants in LA. Petrillo’s is a SGV institution, and the pizza has been around all this time for a reason. In all honestly, the rest of the food is good but not great. It’s really the pizza that shines.
CANNED MUSHROOMS. The customer service at this restaurant is a strong contender as the worst I have ever experienced, the canned mushrooms destroyed the Italian sausage / garlic and mushroom pizza that we ordered! The manager at Claros recommended the place, we will never go back!
