Downhill? Cantonese dim sum slipped a bit?. On my most recent visit (first time in over a year) the XLB were as good as ever, but the Cantonese dim sum was pretty mediocre. Not a single hargow came out intact, the luobuogao were dull and lukewarm, the shrimp and chive dumplings were unusually oily, and bit of chashao sported a distinct length of pink artery.Maybe the Cantonese dim sum staff was let go or replaced by lesser chefs? or maybe Thursday lunch is manned by the B team? Dunno, but it looks like I’m sticking to the XLB from now on.
