This Japanese grocery market serves up some of the best, affordable sashimi in town! There is always a wait, but it’s definitely worth it. As you approach the freezer, get ready to do a lot of pointing to indicate to the chef what pieces of fish you want to cut. He’s a very sweet, old man that cuts your fish fresh to order. All the sashimi in my photo cost under $20! It was enough to feed me and my boyfriend 🙂 They also sell sides to go with your meal such as seaweed salad, potato salad, and octopus. If you don’t feel like waiting for fresh cut sashimi, or if you’re in a hurry, they also sell prepackaged sushi rolls. My favorite are their avocado rolls! instagram.com
