  This is one of those places that we go to on a weekly basis for breakfast. The omelettes and scrambles are a lovely and light combination of California ingredients, their hashbrowns are country style (cubes), and we adore their weekend specials. None of it has nearly the level of butter or grease that typically seems to engulf breakfast foods, and we are so much happier for it. My personal favorites are the Mama’s Papas and the Chicken Apple Sausage Scramble. Their coffee cake is a fabulous thing, but I have rarely found a place able to make even simple toast as well as these folks. For those wanting more lunch-oriented fare, they also have a good selection of burgers, pastas and grilled fish. Hobees staff is consistently friendly and have both offered and accepted far more variations of their menu items than I’d ever dreamed a place would do. The space is nicely open inside, with no noise problems at all, and offers a few outside tables if you prefer some sun.

  Convenient all day breakfast place. Service is courteous and prompt. They have a few good smoothies, great coffee cake and of all breakfast options my favourite is the Cal Browns with egg topper.
