Yuki (Japanese). This was not my first time and Yuki, but it most likely will be my last. The customer service, for one, was atrocious. The waitress came to my table twice over the hour I was in the restaurant; once to seat me, and once to give me my Tonkatsu and Saba bento box (the check I had to fetch for myself from the back counter). Service aside, the food was among the worst I have ever had from either of Yuki’s two, often excellent locations. The Tonkatsu, usually fresh, juicy, and crispy, was overfried and around a centimeter thick for ten dollars. The Saba Nigiri had the texture of styrofoam (I don’t care to know why). This meal was not worth $20, or even $10.Rating: 3.8/1013 May, 2011Yuki Sushi (Japanese). Yuki Sushi on Lincoln Avenue is not as good as it’s Santa Clara counterpart. It’s much more modern, and with a friendly staff, but parking and crowds can pose problems. Also, the food isn’t as high caliber as the original location. Upon arriving to pick up the food they made it seem like it was ready which was far from false. I will NEVER go back. Sushi was nothing special either.
Worse sushi place ever , we waited for more than 45 min even the girl told us it’s about 20 min wait, my sister ordered 2 appetizer and 2 other dishes, too much rice but not much of scallop , the cooked fish got too much salty sauce over , didn’t have much fish but more rice and mayonnaise, we didn’t even order wine or beer just hot tea, charged us $70+ , not satisfied at all, too much noise , can’t even talk there, if you want a decent place don’t go there. Very disappointed
