Burgers & Fries. This place is still one of the best burger spots in the country next to Val’s. Completely different styles but oh so delicious! I spent a lot of time here especially Sundays after church when we would walk across the street and just go to town as kids. It was great that it was still there when I went back last year, can’t wait to visit on my trip out in a couple weeks.
Jerry’s Beefburgers. Since the Jacobs family sold the business, it has never been the same. It used to be THE place on the northeast side of town to go to for fast food. The current owners have tried to turn it into 50% burgers and 50% Asian restaurant. The place is completely run down. It doesn’t even look like they do any repairs to the premises whatsoever. Take my advice and try another place.

Jerry’s is a true bay area classic! this place is all about the memories for my entire family. my dad grew up with jerry’s burgers and before and after dates with my mom he would often pop in for a quick burger. i’m actually very surprised this place is still around as most of the great burger joints from the 50’s have come and gone.sure it’s your typical old school greasy burger joint but i love the burgers and fries and the classic taste of seasoning salt. jerry’s still beats all of the other fast food chains and still much better than in n out.
