SKIP THIS JOINT. Wow!! best burger in san leandro? no way! well there really isn’t much in these parts that is for sure so i can see how some might want to say this. get into val’s burgers in hayward if you think this place has such a good burger and you will all be floored by what a burger can do to ya, it’s still the best burger in the entire bay area and best i have ever had.after hearing so much about this place i just had to stop in and finally try one of these burgers. as a burger fan as well i brought my dad along so we could split one and really judge this place right. we got a burger with cheddar and they cut it in half for us each with our own basket. our burger had tomato and the cheese but we noticed how very thin the beef patty was. we checked out the condiment bar and i added mayo, bbq sauce, lettuce and pickles. with my very first bite i could tell it was for sure cooked over a charcoal grill but not a very good one. the burger was very dry and had absolutely no flavor to it. i’m glad i added the condiments to help add some sort of flavor. the bbq sauce was nice and had a mild spice to it. overall we were both unimpressed with rocky’s and know for a fact we can get a much better burger anywhere else. i’m pretty much a burger expert so trust me when you read this! i can say that the whopper beats out rocky’s any day for great a charbroiled fast food burger.
Yum!. Best hamburgers in town. They use organically fed, no hormones given, beef for their burgers. They also serve chicken, sausage and garden burgers, french fries, etc. Nice little mom & pop kinda place. They added a couple of tables outside, which is really nice on a warm day.
