New location: really good food but the service needs some work. The menu is the same and you will recognize some of the decoration. The food was tasty. We had to ask several times for water. The waitress never came back after the food was delivered…. Not even to bring the bill. We had to ask for it. Then they had to find it. The waitress didn’t even know we were her table.
NOLAgirl. I use to love this place. Gumbo no longer made with the dark roux. No flavor. Cornbread was dry. Pecan pie or maple syrup pie. Cinnamon ice cream was like a Cinnabon tho. Fried alligator was all breading. So disappointed!
