Great place. The tri tip sandwich is to die for!
Great place. Ribs were really good and the kids loved their burger. We came on. A Thursday evening and knew this was a good place. There was a long line out the door. The line moved but gave faith on how good the food was going to be.
Great burgers and fries. Noisy, BUT good food – great hamburger and fries. Long wating outside and it was worth the wait!
Delicious, reasonable prices, great environment! We’ll be back for another round of Pig Sandwiches for sure ^.^
Firestone is incredible. The burgers are grilled to perfection and just melt in your mouth. Its what beef is supposed to taste like topped with fresh ingredients. Now the tri tip…it’s ridiculously moist and tender. The best thing about this place is that it is consistent. Your tri tip will always be juicy and the food awesome. People have complained about the service but I guess they don’t realize where they are…San Luis Obispo! The second happiest place in the county, seriously, look it up. Everyone is friendly and explains that you order your food, pick a seat, and listen up for your number. Simple. If that is too casual for you, than just skip it.
Firestone Grill. I love BBQ and was really excited to try this place, judging from the huge line it looked like the place to be. After waiting in line for 15 minutes, we ordered the Trip-Tip sandwich and Pork Ribs Plate. We went to the bar and ordered some beers. The place was packed, but there was no music, just sports on the numerous TV’s with the sound turned down. The only sounds were the order counter chief yelling out numbers on the PA system. Bad vibe. The Tri Tip was good but dry, and the pork ribs were undercooked and greasy. I would stay away from this place if you know good BBQ.
Food was good they are large portions. Happy hour prices are great! A real good deal.
