This place is so good I was disappointed when my plate was empty.
It’s Saturday afternoon and Mama’s was supposed to be open at 10:30 in the morning. Someone just came out and said they will open in a half hour. We’ll see???
Yummy. Friendly and fun atmosphere. The best calamari fritti we’ve had in years (I crave it). Plus, they have Carbonara on the menu.
I’m shocked this place gets such high reviews! Ate there tonight & for the price it was far from worth it. Just gloppy, oily pasta dishes. Margherita Pizza was not good & the Carpaccio I ordered was $12 for the tiniest portion (see picture) with arugula towering on top to make the dish look larger. It had spicy mustard glopped all over it so you could barely taste the beef. We wouldn’t go back or recommend.
Great place, awesome food!. We’ve eaten at Mama’s many times and have never been disappointed. In fact we take relatives/friends who haven’t been there and they have all loved it as well.The atmosphere is homey, staff is friendly, and the food is to die for! It’s only 8:40 a.m. as I write this but I could sure go for some eggplant parm right now!
The portobello mushroom appetizer is yummy! Tomato basil soup not so much. Loved the beet salad!
Good stuff!. I have lived in Italy and I liked this restaurant. Good food, good service, fair price, left full and happy.
