We ordered spicy chicken salad, karaage and tan tan men ramen. Serving was huge. The tan tan men ramen was delicious! One serving is good enough for two people. Loved this ramen place!
IMHO, San Mateo has the best Japanese restaurants in the bay area, & Himawari is one of my favorites. I love Himawari not only for the ramen, but also for the other items on the menu. Himawari, to me, combines a ramen shop with an Izakaya twist, what more can you ask for? A few of my favorites are the Poki salad, Hotate & tobiko, & the ebi roll. Go to Himawari & you’ll thank me!
