Worst valentine’s day dinner ever!. My boyfriends ny steak was obviously frozen. My ribeye steak was hiding under a mountain of slimy mushrooms and the steak had a strange mushy texture and it was so disgusting that I couldn’t eat it. I also ordered it medium and it was definitely rare. The beans smelled like butt hole and the croutons in the salad tasted old. I spent $60 for valentine’s day and was extremely disappointed. How can you call yourself a steakhouse and serve soggy frozen steaks? Thanks for stealing my money and serving me trash.
The Steakhouse soup is fantastic! The dinner salad is refreshing and a cut above. The Sizzling Steak Bites and Mushrooms appetizer was cooked to perfection and delicious as were the Skirt Steak and the Garlic Crusted Salmon. The service was prompt and friendly but not pushy and the rustic Old West atmosphere was homey. We got there early on a Saturday (5:30 pm) and there was a line and the parking lot was full when we left. Great place!
Our son just returned from Afghanistan and the first place he wanted to go was CHL for their ribeye. He is stationed in Colorado where they have great steak houses but his ribeye topped anything in Colo. Service was great and the Asst Mgr Kari came thru for our son’s request. Thanks Kari and CHL
GROSS. Went to Cool Hand Lukes with family visiting from out of town and were expecting a good steak…instead we all got sick! The steak tasted like it was cooked on a dirty grill. It had a strange flavor. I asked for steak medium-rare and it could have WALKED off the plate! Then the waitress tried to explain temperatures to me! I would only get beer here – NOTHING ELSE! Go to Jocko’s or Shaw’s if you want a good steak.
Great food and atmosphere. We love Cool Hand Lukes. The skirt steak is melt in your mouth delicious and the coconut shrimp is fabulous. The service is always good and the atmosphere is charming.

In an area so well known for there steaks, Cool Hand Luke’s does a pretty piss poor job. The steaks are so so, but the rest of the food is pretty terrible; your standard commercial restaurant fare.
