Amazing Fries. After passing by a few times, I decided to give it a try. I wasn’t looking for a full meal so I ordered from their appetizers menu. When the fries got there, I thought I wouldnt be abe to finish them since they were pretty big, but after tasting them… I couldnt stop eating them. They are fries covered with cheese, meat and guacamole. Will definitely come back again… and again.. and again. Will update as I try other menu items

We have eaten at the El Palenque Mexican Restaurant one or more times a week since it opened and we drive a distance of about 14 miles to do that. It’s well worth it!! The food is always served piping hot on very hot plates to keep it warm as long as possible and is spiced just right for our taste. We have tried most of their dishes and found them delightful to the palate and pleasing to the eye. We especially enjoy their salsas, Pozole, Chile Verde, Tacos and Tamales. Their daily specials and full course meals have great price-points for the high quality and quantity of food served. We rate the service provided by the team of owner, his wife, sons, daughter and other wait-persons excellent also! It’s rare to have an owner who visits with customers at their tables and ensures they were pleased with everything, but this one does just that. Give them a try…you’ll love it.
