Not worth the drive.. Canned fruit cocktail. Really?! Enough said.

Great place for steaks, in a different ambiance. Followed a friend’s recommendation, on the way back home, from the bay area. Really enjoyed the hospitality, and food. Dinner option includes a shrimp cocktail, salad, side order, and desert, for a very reasonable price. Steaks were just a little overdone to our taste, but still very flavorful and tender. Definitely a great option for steaks, off the beaten track. Highly recommended.

Great service and even better food. Filet is always cooked to perfection, would recommend Medium for anybody who typically gets Medium rare. The restaurant is worth the drive

Food was okay but overpriced. Service was so-so. Go to Shaw’s or Jocko’s for less money and better food.

Funky Place – Great Steaks – Likes. We went for dinner here on Friday’s evening. No reservation and just called. They were able to sit us. Great atmosphere. Rustic, dark, wood smell mixed with char-grilled meat aroma… Basically the same menu as the one in Buellton – quail and odds and ends for starters but you come here for the steaks. We ordered the 22 oz T-bone and a 10 oz rib-eye – medium rare. Perfection! Just perfectly cooked with enough crunch from the outside, red, juicy on the inside. Fresh salad and some bay shrimps – not much to write about. Go here for the steaks, a good bottle of owner’s made pinot and you will be happy!

Best steak anywhere. Full dinners…great steak, in a tiny quaint out of the way village. People come from all over to eat the best BBQ steak. Great service, great bar!
