The problem with writing reviews about BBQ joints all over the US as a hobby is that you eat a lot of really bad BBQ. This is one of those times!!!I ordered the light combo 1/4 chicken (white meat) and the tri tip double slaw. They pulled both the chicken and the Trip tip from the alto shaam one could question if it was the smoker or the oven as there was NO flavor of smoke to be found anywhere. They put this thick tomatoey sauce, goop or whatever over it that was by all means disgusting.The chicken was cooked to death but still alive enough to try and take me with it by choking me out. The trip tip was just weird not soft not totally chewy just weird…. and the double slaw was just plain gross.I am sorry but they have a sign that says this place has been voted best BBQ 28 years in a row…. that scares me! If this is good BBQ then I’m eating something else all over the US.Is it the worst BBQ maybe Bandana’s in IA you might have tied for last place finally…This is a shame!!!www.thepettransporterguy.com

Love this place. I normally get the Bullwacker sandwich, my boyfriend is obsessed with their robs tho.Just had them cater a 50 person birthday party and the food was tremendous! Tons of complements. We got tri tip, BBQ chicken, cowboy beans, an amazing potato dish, salad, bread and grilles vegetables. Couldn’t be happier with their catering!
It had it’s day, now it…. It had its day, now it feels like a sad old apathetic place turning out dry lackluster meat in a space caked with dried sauce.
I’ve been going to Woody’s for years. A bullwhacker are by far my favourite thing, the unonion rings make the sandwich. The salad bar is amazing as well to start with. Overall an amazing fun resturant with games to keep kids entertained
On 06/13/09 was our first time. Very casual. Sawdust on the floor. We split the full rack of beef ribs (7 huge ribs; enough for 2). Two sides we had salad and fries (I wish they had corn). The ribs were very good(8/10). Pitcher of beer with mason jar glasses (8/10). We enjoyed the outside patio and will be back to Woodys (8/10)
