Blowfish sushi is more like a pub than a restaurant though the sushi is certainly to die for. I tried it once with the family and realized it is more of a cool place for friends than anything else. Their food and Japanese setting are indeed unique.
Allergies Beware – Foodie with Food Allergy. The Sashimi Tower is safe to eat. It is served on a bed of smoking dry ice (very neat presentation).If you have had a severe allergic reaction within the last few months to nuts, I probably would hold off on dining here. A few menu items contain nuts (macadamia, coconut).I have a severe allergy to tree nuts and I was okay with the Sashimi Tower.Fun to go to with a group of girlfriends or wind down after work with colleagues. Turns into a club scene after happy hour with a DJ. Young and Trendy.
