This used to be pasand of lakki reddy fame. Buffet – lunch is good, reasonably priced and has good variety. You may end up with bloated stomach though. They add too much baking soda in all dishes.Seating and carpet on the floor are usually dirty.
Bombay Garden money crazy! not honest. Refer photo: Bombay Garden – Proof BillBombay Garden is forcing their customers who want to use Groupon voucher to order exact amount of voucher value. For example I had purchased dinner for 2 deal which is $15(voucher is worth $30). Bombay garden has buffet for dinner which will cost $25.90, so the business owner is asking me to make the order total exactly $30 before taxes in order to honor the groupon voucher. I said I can’t order because I have already paid for $30. They refused to accept voucher until I order something extra. So I had to order some take out order of two drinks worth $5.90 before taxes, the total bill came to $34.54 after taxes and I had to pay $4.54 out of my pocket and all this happened at the billing counter. I paid $4.54 but I refused to take two drinks with me because I was forced to order it, so I left drinks on the cashier desk.Bombay Garden owners have become greedy, Why should they opt for Groupon when they can’t accept the fact that groupon and living social deals are to give customers a good experience and save a little bit, because thousands of people are buying that.Note: If you show them a print out version of voucher, the won’t accept it. They insist on getting the hard copy of print out. Or you should show an electronic voucher from Groupon mobile app. but all they need is just the voucher number. How money crazy these people are.
WORST,AVOID EXPENSIVE AND BAD SERVICE,POOR QUALITY. One of the worst Indian restaurants out there in Santa Clara, very expensive poor quality food, attitude that customer is always wrong and with very poor service, the managemnent is totally lame and have no idea about hospitality industry….the surdarji over there are totally clueless, with such poor service and attitude towards customers, I see a very slim chance of them surviving another year…to add on top, they also do not honor their own gift certificates, speaks a lot about them, AVOID at ALL COST!!
I was an out of town visitor who chanced upon this restaurant. I’ve only had their Sunday Lunch buffet which I thought was excellent. Particularly liked their Seekh Kababs
DELICIOUS and helpful. I walked in here never having indian food before, and asked the staff for help. They gave me a menu and helped me choose what I would like based on my tastes. What they helped me get was amazing. I have gone back there since then, and would highly recommend this place.
I can’t read the menu…. But the curry was awesome.
I’ve tried other Indian restaurants out there. So far Bombay Garden is the best and is the one I keep going back for whenever I crave for Indian food.
