I had a business function hosted at Boubon Steak located in Levi Stadium. When you walked into the restaurant the smell was intoxicating getting me ready for a great steak. The staff was very attentive. We chose three courses from a planned menu. I picked a field salad, a filet, and beignets. We were served an appetizer of flavored french fries with various dipping sauces that were very good. The salad was average with a light vinaigrette. We then had a mushroom risotto with truffle oil – this had a lemony flavor that clashed with the parmesan cheese in my opinion. The steaks were served with roasted asparagus, young potatoes, and Mac and cheese. The potatoes were not cooked enough for my taste, but the other sides were delicious. The steak, however, was quite tough even though it seemed to be cooked to the right temperature. Disappointing after the wonderful smell when entering the building. The dessert was great – quite sweet as the beignets has a cinnamon and sugar coating and it was served with a bourbon infused Carmel sauce over a custard. Nicely done. Giving this a 3 due to the expected cost and the poor steak quality.

I had the German dog, my husband had the turkey burger, and our son had the wings…. No one could finish, but everything was good. My husband also had the bourbon flight, and that was a fun tableside experience. The server smokes each of your glasses with one of the three different accompaniments, before he pours each tasting of bourbon. I was a little surprised however that he used the same jigger for pouring the different bourbons… Oh well. I had the No Pabloma and it was really good as well. Would go back for sure! L
